In order to reduce the occurrence of foodborne illness and associated risk factors within our community, the Cobb & Douglas Public Health Food Service Program will serve as a valuable resource on food safety matters and provide regulatory inspections, construction evaluations, and assessments for facility operators and builders.
THE NEW RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR FOOD SERVICE ARE NOW IN EFFECT
The new Rules and Regulations for Food Service for the State of Georgia went into effect on November 1, 2015. These updated rules reflect the recommendations of the FDA Model Food Code of 2013.
