As per the Rules and Regulations for Tourist Accommodations, all gas-fired equipment must be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Points to be inspected include proper construction and installation, malfunctions and adjustments of controls and burners, faulty heat exchangers and vent obstructions. Any defects found as a result of this inspection must be corrected by a qualified heating contractor prior to using the equipment. Proof of this inspection and/or correction of any noted deficiencies must be made available if requested by one of our inspectors.
